You know we all have those moments where something obscure happens, sometimes to you, sometimes in front of you, sometimes you just hear about it, & all you can do is respond with “man, what’s the chance of that!!” Martin & Molloy (2 Melbourne comedians) used to do a similar thing but their catch phrase was “what’s all that about?”
Well, here is my version; feel free to add yours; my only request is that at the end of your entry,you have to finish with “What’s the chance of that?”
You’re in a room on your own; you’ve been on your own for 20 minutes; you let rip a subtle fart, & the moment that you do, someone walks into the room
You barrack for Richmond & they win a grand final
You race to get to an event on time only to find out that it is starting late
You finally get a night to yourself, you sit down to watch a movie, with a meal & a glass of wine, just as you pick up the fork, the door bell rings
A telemarketer rings your house & the first thing that they say is “Is that a bad time to call?”
You realise that 90% of all commercial music is by no talent wannabees who are being exploited by commercial entreprises
The producers of Big Brother issue a press statement saying that they have come to the conclusion that no amount of advertising can hide that fact that the show is as boring as bat shit
After weeks of feeling terrible, you relent & go to the doctor & whilst in the car on the way to the surgery, you start to feel better

- You’ve been searching the house for weeks to find the DVD you lost and figure it’s gone to God, so you go and re-purchase it only to find it after the return policy on your new DVD runs out!
- Your camera which is only one year old decides to go belly up and you find out that your warranty lasted—-one year!
- You respond to your husbands nasty email about his boss, confirming his and adding your own nasty comments, you hit send then realise you have actually sent it directly to the boss himself!
